M.K. Stalin Unveils Chennai City Manifesto; Pledges Improved Roads, AI-Driven Transit, and Enhanced Veterinary Services
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Sunday, April 19, launched the DMK’s ‘Chennai Super-6’, a manifesto tailored for the Assembly elections in Chennai.

Elections for 234 Assembly seats in the state are scheduled for April 23.

Stalin presented the manifesto at the DMK headquarters, ‘Anna Arivalayam’, with the first copy handed to party organization secretary R S Bharathi.
This six-point document outlines commitments for enhanced amenities, the introduction of 1,000 new mini-buses, and AI-driven transport management aimed at alleviating congestion and reducing travel time.
The ruling party also promised improvements for stormwater drainage, vital road projects, and top-tier amenities on roads, including planting avenue trees.

To combat the stray dog issue, the party has pledged to triple the number of veterinary doctors and field personnel.

Furthermore, a special center focused on AI, animation, visual effects, gaming, and immersive technologies, along with a global talent gateway, is included in their pledges.

While addressing a campaign rally in Tiruppur, Stalin cautioned that Tamil Nadu’s development would be jeopardized if voters choose the NDA in the forthcoming Assembly elections. He emphasized that whenever the DMK rolls out a program, it consistently results in significant achievements.

“The AIADMK and BJP have hindered the industrial growth of this region. Supporting the NDA will pose an obstacle to Tamil Nadu’s advancement, and the public must understand this,” he stated.

Stalin noted that the initiatives introduced in Tamil Nadu are being adopted nationwide. “The central government is now trying to emulate our programs,” he asserted.
