Akasa Air becomes a member of the International Air Transport Association following successful completion of the IOSA safety audit.
On April 16, Akasa Air announced the launch of Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, as its seventh international destination, with services set to start on September 4, 2026.

The airline plans to operate four weekly non-stop flights connecting Mumbai and Hanoi, marking its entry into the Vietnamese market and enhancing its international presence in Southeast Asia.

According to the flight schedule, QP 0625 will depart from Mumbai at 0535 hrs, arriving in Hanoi at 1200 hrs. The return flight, QP 0626, is scheduled to leave Hanoi at 1330 hrs and reach Mumbai at 1710 hrs. This service will be available on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Passengers can book tickets for this route via the airline’s website, mobile apps, and through various online travel agencies.

“Vietnam has become one of the most appealing short-haul destinations for Indian travelers, celebrated for its accessibility, vibrant tourism possibilities, and rich cultural heritage,” stated Anand Srinivasan, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer. The airline believes that this new route will foster travel demand and enhance both economic and cultural ties between India and Vietnam.
