Sameer Rizvi delivered an impressive performance, scoring 90 runs off 51 balls to lead Delhi Capitals to a decisive six-wicket win against Mumbai Indians during their Indian Premier League matchup on Saturday.

Mumbai Indians found it challenging to gain momentum with the bat, concluding their innings at 162 for six. Rohit Sharma was the top scorer with 35 runs, while Suryakumar Yadav provided a solid yet modest contribution.

Naman Dhir contributed 28 runs, but the absence of significant partnerships hindered their innings. Mukesh Kumar was the standout bowler for Delhi, achieving remarkable figures of 2 for 26 and striking early to disrupt the top order.
In reply, Delhi Capitals experienced a rough start, losing KL Rahul (1) and Nitish Rana (0) early on. Nevertheless, Pathum Nissanka stabilized the innings with a quickfire 44, laying the groundwork for Rizvi’s dominating innings.

Rizvi then launched a spectacular performance, blasting seven sixes and seven fours during his 51-ball knock, allowing Delhi to chase down the target effortlessly in 18.1 overs.
