DPIL’s noteworthy contract with GETCO encompasses the supply of 66 kV Extra High Voltage (EHV) cables, marking a significant advancement in its transmission business.

As per the exchange disclosure, this deal covers around 270 km of 66 kV EHV cables, expected to be delivered within four months from the purchase order date. This contract represents one of the company’s largest single EHV cable successes, which is projected to enhance its standing in the high-voltage transmission market and improve short-term revenue outlook.

Similarly, DPIL has received a letter of intent from UGVCL for 453 km of cable valued at ₹43.94 crore (including GST). This order will be fulfilled over seven months after a 45-day kick-off period, in monthly batches as specified by the discom.

The company has successfully completed over 90 km of 66 kV and 110 kV EHV cable contracts in the previous six months, catering to both public utilities and private sector clients.

With these recent agreements, DPIL’s total order backlog has surpassed ₹3,500 crore as of March 30, 2026, giving substantial revenue clarity moving forward, according to the report.

Umesh Chayya, Senior President (Sales & Marketing), commented that the GETCO deal highlights DPIL’s technological aptitude and execution capabilities in the EHV arena, asserting that the company is well-positioned to leverage rising opportunities within India’s power transmission infrastructure sector.

Shares of Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd dips by 3.36% to ₹118.82 on the NSE.
