In this vein of stylish practicality, doctor bags are a key trend this year. Their structured, boxy shape hides whatever your work commute may require (spare flats, chargers, gym clothes, etc.), and the top handles make it easy to tote.
Belted bags are still going strong. Prada, Miu Miu, and Hermès all showcased bags in their spring ’25 collections that feature belt details—from literal belts looped around to smaller belt buckle details.
Then there’s the enduring East-West bag, which originated with Alaïa’s “Le Teckel” bags (the French term for “dachshund” in English)—a cheeky reference to the dog’s elongated body shape.
