The Vasai-Virar City Municipal Corporation (VVMC) has introduced a reward for voters participating in the civic polls on January 15, offering a 25% discount on haircuts at salons.
The VVMC has teamed up with the Vasai Hairdressers Association to provide this special incentive. Citizens who present their inked finger at participating salons within municipal boundaries will qualify for a 25% discount on hair-cutting services, as stated in a release from the civic body.
This initiative aims to turn the polling day into a genuine “festival of democracy” by recognizing responsible citizens.
The VVMC emphasized that the scheme is tailored to motivate every eligible voter to engage in the democratic process boldly and with enthusiasm.
