The Prime Minister took the opportunity to advocate for agricultural reform, referencing Holkar’s vision for promoting crop diversity. “To boost farmers’ income, Lokmata Ahilyabai advised us 250-300 years ago to foster cotton and spice farming. Even today, after 250-300 years, we must continuously remind our farmers to embrace crop diversification. Sticking solely to paddy or sugarcane is not an option,” Modi remarked.
