The technology sector has been alive with notable launches and innovations across various fields throughout June 2025. Apple kicked off its WWDC (June 9–13) by introducing revolutionary technologies like iOS 26 and macOS 26. Smartphone makers launched new mid-range and premium devices, including the Poco F7, OnePlus 13s, Vivo T4 Ultra, and Infinix GT 30 Pro. From the release of the Motorola Edge 60 in India to the Vivo T4 Ultra, here’s a recap of this week’s tech launches.

Vivo T4 Ultra

Vivo introduced the T4 Ultra smartphone in India, with a starting price of Rs 37,999. Equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor, this new device boasts a 6.67-inch quad-curved AMOLED display. It is available in two striking colors – Phoenix Gold and Meteor Grey. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting June 18 on Flipkart, Vivo India’s online store, and various offline retailers.
Lava Prowatch Xtreme

Lava has unveiled its premium smartwatch, the Prowatch Xtreme, which serves as an upgrade to the earlier Prowatch X released this year. It features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, a pixel density of 326 PPI, brightness of 500 nits, and Always-On Display compatibility. The Prowatch Xtreme is available in three strap options: Silicone (Rs 4,499), Nylon (Rs 4,699), and Metal (Rs 4,999).

Motorola Edge 60

Motorola has launched the Edge 60 smartphone in India, priced at Rs. 25,999. This device features a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor and will be available in two color options: Pantone Shamrock and Pantone Gibraltar Sea, along with a configuration of 12GB RAM and 265GB storage.

Apple iOS 26

At WWDC 2025, Apple introduced iOS 26, the latest major software upgrade for iPhones. Initially intended to be named iOS 19, the company decided to label it iOS 26, marking a significant shift in software versioning and the most substantial visual overhaul since iOS 7.

Apple Liquid Glass

During the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025, Apple presented a major redesign, termed Liquid Glass, which is currently being tested by developers across iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe 26, watchOS 26, and tvOS 26.

Apple iPadOS 26

Apple announced iPadOS 26 at WWDC25, featuring a new look inspired by the Liquid Glass design. The iPad is now more akin to a Mac, thanks to the introduction of new productivity tools and enhanced multitasking capabilities.

Apple macOS Tahoe 26 developer beta

Apple has rolled out the macOS Tahoe 26 developer beta, which includes advanced AI enhancements, improved iPhone connectivity, and design updates. While the new designs and features will still be accessible for Intel Macs, this release is noted to be the last major macOS update supporting them.

Google ‘Pixel VIPs’

Reports indicate that Google has started rolling out a new app called Pixel VIPs to a select group of Pixel users via the Play Store. According to 9To5Google, this app provides enhanced tools for managing key contacts and acts as an expanded favorites hub within Google Contacts.
