Special Weekend Trains to Operate Between Kalaburagi and Bengaluru: Find Out More
The Solapur Division of the Central Railway will run six trips of weekend special trains connecting Kalaburagi and Bengaluru Cantonment from late November through late December. These special services are designed to offer passengers enhanced convenience and comfort, catering to the increased demand for weekend travel between the two cities.

According to a release from the division, the special trains, carrying numbers 06207 and 06208, will be in operation on Saturdays and Sundays from November 23 to December 28.

As noted by the Central Railway’s Solapur Division, the Bengaluru Cantonment – Kalaburagi Special (Train No. 06207) is set to depart Bengaluru Cantonment at 7:20 pm on Saturdays from November 22 to December 27 and will arrive in Kalaburagi at 7:30 am the following morning.
On the other hand, the Kalaburagi – Bengaluru Cantonment Special (Train No. 06208) will leave Kalaburagi at 9:35 am on Sundays, reaching Bengaluru Cantonment by 8:30 pm the same day (from November 23 to December 28). Each train will operate six trips throughout this time period, as per the release.

The trains will stop at several important stations, including Yelahanka, Hindupur, Dharmavaram, Anantapur, Guntakal, Adoni, Manthralayam Road, Raichur, Krishna, Yadgir, and Shahabad.

Every train will consist of 22 coaches, featuring 20 Sleeper Class coaches and 2 Second Class Luggage-cum-Divyangjan coaches.

Reservations for these special trains, which will have additional charges, can be made at computerized reservation centers or online via the official IRCTC website at www.irctc.co.in. Unreserved tickets may be purchased at station counters or through the UTS mobile app. Passengers are advised to travel with valid tickets.

Previously, Indian Railways announced two special trains from Patna Sahib and Old Delhi to Sri Anandpur Sahib between November 22 and 25, to mark the Martyrdom Day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the ninth Sikh Guru.
