Singapore Motorshow 2026 showcased a comprehensive view of how global automakers are transforming mobility, with electric vehicles, performance innovations, and ultra-luxury models dominating various segments.

Suzuki’s electric introduction

Suzuki made a significant impression with the public unveiling of the e VITARA, its inaugural mass-production battery-electric vehicle and a modern take on its enduring SUV nameplate. Constructed on the new HEARTECT-e EV platform, this compact electric SUV fuses rugged SUV aesthetics with urban-friendly dimensions, state-of-the-art BEV technology, and a tech-savvy interior. Alongside, Suzuki showcased the all-new Fronx, a compact crossover that serves as an efficient and accessible urban mobility solution.

MINI’s motorsport legacy

MINI Asia captured attention with a MINI Cooper adorned in exclusive Nürburgring 24-Hour race livery, celebrating the brand’s rich motorsport history. The exhibit was further enhanced by a full model lineup, including the MINI John Cooper Works, All-Electric MINI Cooper, All-Electric MINI Aceman, All-Electric MINI Countryman, and the MINI Countryman, emphasizing MINI’s increasing commitment to electrification while maintaining its racing heritage.

Mercedes’ forward-thinking technology

Mercedes-Benz introduced the all-new CLA in Singapore, heralding a new generation built around the brand’s innovative MB.OS operating system, which offers enhanced connectivity and customization. The display also featured the striking CONCEPT AMG GT XX, an electric performance prototype that signifies Mercedes-AMG’s future path. Completing the showcase was a diverse portfolio including the A-Class, GLA, GLB, GLC, and C-Class.

Porsche’s electric preview

Porsche revealed the interior of the forthcoming Cayenne Electric, showcasing a curved Flow Display, an augmented reality head-up display, and improved digital personalization. The brand also highlighted a Cayenne Electric prototype wrapped in fluorescent camouflage and teased its upcoming wireless inductive charging technology, reinforcing its commitment to convenience and performance in the electric age.

Luxury making an impact

Mercedes-Benz Singapore unveiled the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series, the brand’s first-ever two-seater, merging open-top performance with customized luxury. Luxury EV brand AVATR officially launched in Singapore with the AVATR 11, and provided a sneak peek at the limited-edition AVATR 012, limited to 700 units worldwide, highlighting its design-led, high-end focus.

Together, the launches at Singapore Motorshow 2026 showcased a clear industry trend towards electrification, digital experiences, and personalized luxury across mainstream, premium, and performance brands.
