Scapia Introduces Scapia Pay: Understanding Co-Branded RuPay Cards and Their UPI Rewards System
Scapia, a fintech travel platform in India, has introduced Scapia Pay, an in-app UPI payments solution that enables users to earn rewards on transactions made with Scapia co-branded RuPay credit cards. This service is designed to merge everyday payments, credit, and travel rewards into one unified platform.

Through Scapia Pay, users can connect their Scapia Federal RuPay and Scapia BOBCARD RuPay credit cards to the app for immediate UPI payments and earn rewards on eligible transactions. The app also features a custom UPI ID for enhanced privacy, alerts for first-time payments, notifications for high-value transactions, and a comprehensive spend tracking system across contacts and merchants.

Additionally, the platform offers tools such as intelligent suggested contacts, favorites with keyword tagging, and a one-click credit card linking feature. These enhancements aim to streamline payment management and provide users with better insights into their spending.
The launch occurs against the backdrop of the continued expansion of UPI in India, which processed around 20 billion transactions in February 2026. Scapia’s updates align with its 2026 Spring Release, featuring enhancements like two-click credit card bill payments via Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS), personalized holiday planning, and broadened travel options that include international airport privileges and new bus routes.

Scapia has broadened its ecosystem from a travel-first focus to a multi-category platform, covering flights, buses, trains, accommodations, visas, experiences, and financial services. The company collaborates with banks such as Federal Bank and BOBCARD to offer co-branded credit cards for both domestic and international use.

Scapia Pay and the comprehensive Spring Release suite are now accessible through the Scapia app and website.
