Samsung's Upcoming Galaxy Unpacked Scheduled for July 9: Expectations, Viewing Details, and Additional Information
Following much anticipation, Samsung has officially revealed the date for its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, where it is expected to unveil the latest generation of foldable devices alongside wearables.

This year’s Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 9 in Brooklyn, New York, as announced in a press release from the company.

The South Korean tech giant has been hinting at its enhanced Galaxy Z Fold7 (or the Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra, pending the final name), claiming it to be the slimmest and lightest foldable yet. For context, the Galaxy Z Fold6 measures 5.6mm when opened, while the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition

, released in Korea and China last year, was even more compact at 4.9mm.
In addition to the Galaxy Z Fold, Samsung is also expected to launch the Galaxy Z Flip7 and a new budget-friendly Galaxy Z Flip7 FE.

Leaked information online has provided users with a preview of an upcoming Galaxy Watch 8 model, featuring a rotating bezel and the “squircle” design of the Galaxy Watch Ultra.

Pre-reservations are now available for upcoming Galaxy devices

Samsung has also announced that customers in India can pre-reserve the latest Galaxy devices starting Tuesday by paying a nominal fee of ₹2,000.

Those who pre-reserve will enjoy benefits valued at up to ₹5,999 upon purchasing the device and will be eligible for early delivery.

Customers can pre-reserve via Samsung.com, Samsung Exclusive Stores, Amazon.in, Flipkart.com, and other major retail outlets throughout India.

When and where to watch Galaxy Unpacked

The Unpacked event — hosted in Brooklyn, a borough described by the company as a hub of “culture, creativity, and collaboration” — will be livestreamed from 7:30 PM IST on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom India, and the Samsung India YouTube channel.

Samsung has hinted that the new Galaxy lineup will showcase the pinnacle of its craftsmanship and AI capabilities, promising users “more than just a collection of apps and tools,” but rather a companion that can intuitively understand and respond.
