Realme has teased the upcoming Realme 16 5G, suggesting a significant enhancement in battery life. This new device is anticipated to include a substantial 7000mAh battery, ensuring extended usage without the need for frequent recharging.

In a unique move for India, the phone is dubbed the ‘Selfie Mirror Phone’. It features a mirror integrated into the rear camera module, enabling users to check their appearance and capture high-quality selfies using the main rear camera.

The teaser reveals a sleek, lightweight white phone, making it convenient to carry around. It sports a stylish horizontal camera bar on the back, adding a premium and contemporary touch to the overall design.
While selfies are typically taken with the front camera, this innovative selfie mirror allows users to utilize the main rear camera for selfies, leading to significantly improved photo quality.

Realme 16 5G specifications

The device boasts a 6.57-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display.
It features a 120Hz refresh rate, providing a fluid user experience.
Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo chip, it includes a 50 megapixel (MP) rear camera, complemented by a 2 MP monochrome lens, and a 50 MP front camera.
The phone is equipped with an impressive 7000mAh battery supporting 60W fast charging, along with a reverse charging capability.
Additionally, it holds IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, ensuring protection against dust, water, and even high-pressure environments.
Available in ‘Air White’ and ‘Air Black’ color options.

Realme 16 5G launch date and price

The device was launched in Vietnam in January. The variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at 11,490,000 Vietnamese Dong, approximately ₹40,000 in India. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version retails for 12,490,000 Vietnamese Dong, around ₹44,000 in India.

Although the launch date for the Realme 16 5G in India is yet to be announced, it is expected to be priced close to ₹40,000.
