PCB upset after ICC leaves Pakistan captain Agha off T20 World Cup ticket sales poster
The Pakistan Cricket Board is frustrated with the International Cricket Council for releasing a promotional poster for next year’s T20 World Cup ticket sales that does not include the country’s captain, Salman Ali Agha.

A reliable source within the PCB stated that they have addressed the issue with the ICC, as the promotional poster only features five captains — Suryakumar Yadav (India), Aiden Markram (South Africa), Mitchell Marsh (Australia), Dasun Shanaka (Sri Lanka), and Harry Brook (England).

“We encountered similar issues during the Asia Cup a few months ago, where broadcasters initiated a promotional campaign that excluded our captain,” the source mentioned.
He noted that changes were made only after the PCB intervened with the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).

“We are experiencing a parallel situation this time since the ICC has not included our captain in the promotional material for ticket sales,” he continued.

He emphasized that while Pakistan may not currently rank among the top five teams in the ICC T20 rankings, it has a rich history and is one of the most appealing teams in the World Cup.

He expressed confidence that the ICC will include the Pakistan captain in the promotional poster and marketing campaigns.
