No Initial Launch of Over-Ear Headphones During Phone (3) Unveiling on July 1
Based in London, tech firm Nothing is set to venture into a new product segment with the launch of Phone (3) on July 1, introducing its inaugural over-ear headphones—Headphone (1).

During a presentation at SXSW London, CEO Carl Pei shared insights about the company’s progress, the future of smartphones, and the influence of the Nothing community on product development.

He concluded his session with an exciting preview: the company’s first over-ear headphones are scheduled to launch next month in London at 10.30 pm IST.
However, the main highlight is the Phone (3)—Nothing’s first genuine flagship smartphone. Pei recently disclosed that it will be priced at approximately 800 pounds (about ₹90,500), indicating a pronounced move into the premium market.

The upcoming phone is anticipated to feature a Snapdragon 8-series processor, a 6.5-inch AMOLED display, and enhanced AI capabilities integrated within Nothing OS 3.0.

Among the most daring design alterations? The Phone (3) will replace the company’s characteristic Glyph Interface with a new LED matrix on the back—unveiled by Nothing on May 29—promising more dynamic and customizable lighting interactions.
