What’s new with the Motorola Edge 60?
The Edge 60, which first appeared in global markets earlier this year with the Dimensity 7300 SoC, now debuts in India featuring the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor along with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. Additionally, it supports expandable storage of up to 1TB through a microSD card.
This smartphone boasts a 6.67-inch 1.5K pOLED quad-curved display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.
A standout feature is the 50MP front camera capable of recording in 4K, complemented by a triple rear camera system: a 50MP Sony LYT-700C main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens providing 3x optical zoom.
Battery, durability and software support
Under the hood, the device contains a 5,500mAh battery supporting 68W fast charging. It carries an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance and complies with MIL-STD-810H standards for durability.
Operating on Android 15 with Motorola’s Hello UI, it promises three years of Android updates along with four years of security patches.
The Edge 60 features include Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, Moto AI, Water Touch 3.0, and an SGS Eye Care-certified display.
Availability
The device is priced at ₹25,999 and will be available starting June 17 through Flipkart, Motorola India’s website, and offline retail outlets.
Customers using select bank cards can receive an additional ₹1,000 discount, reducing the price to ₹24,999.
The Motorola Edge 60 will vie for attention in the sub-₹30,000 market against competitors like the iQOO Neo 10R, Poco X7 Pro, OnePlus Nord 4, and Infinix GT 30 Pro.
