Morocco Wins the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 Title with a 3-2 Victory Against Jordan
Morocco claimed the FIFA Arab Cup title on Thursday evening with a thrilling 3-2 win over Jordan in Doha, concluding a dynamic series of FIFA tournaments in Qatar.

The match took place at the stunning Lusail Stadium, exactly three years after it hosted the unforgettable FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 final between Argentina and France.

On this occasion, the spotlight was on Morocco, who showcased exceptional performance throughout the tournament, boasting the best defensive record by conceding only once on their path to the final.
Tarik Sektioui’s team faced a determined Jordan, who is set to make their FIFA World Cup debut next year and arrived with impressive goal-scoring momentum, netting ten goals in five matches leading up to the final.
The African giants took an early lead within the first four minutes thanks to an astonishing long-range effort from Oussama Tannane, who scored from his own half.

In the second half, the tournament’s top scorer Ali Olwan turned the tide for Jordan with a brace, giving his team the lead with only minutes remaining. However, the fate of the title changed as Abderrazak Hamdallah of Morocco scored a late equalizer, pushing the match into extra time, where he netted the dramatic winner in the 100th minute.

This victory culminates yet another remarkable performance for Morocco in Qatar, after their historic achievement as the first African nation to reach the final four of the FIFA World Cup in 2022.

The final phase of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 featured 16 teams from Africa and Asia across the Arab world, with matches held in six stadiums that had previously hosted games for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Coinciding with Qatar National Day, the triumph of the Atlas Lions concludes a two-month period filled with three major tournaments in the Gulf nation.

The decisive match followed Paris Saint-Germain’s victory over Flamengo in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup Qatar 2025 just a day prior, and three weeks after Portugal’s success at the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025.
