IPL 2026: Rain Risk Hangs Over DC vs GT Showdown in Delhi
Delhi Capitals are preparing to host Gujarat Titans in Match No. 14 of the Indian Premier League 2026 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday, with initial rain concerns seemingly subsiding.

Light rain in certain areas of the city prior to the match had briefly raised fears of a delayed toss or a late start. However, the latest weather updates provide a much more optimistic outlook.

As per AccuWeather, the chances of rain affecting the match remain low. Between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM, the likelihood of precipitation hovers at a mere 23 percent before decreasing to 15 percent, with hazy sunshine expected rather than consistent rainfall.
From 7:00 PM onwards, conditions are set to vastly improve, with the possibility of rain dropping to zero and clear skies taking over. Cloud coverage is anticipated to be minimal throughout the evening, fluctuating between 0 and 13%.

Temperatures are expected to be pleasant for play, starting around 26°C in the early evening and gradually cooling to 18-19°C as the night progresses, creating nearly perfect conditions for what promises to be an exciting match in the capital.
