IndiGo Introduces More Than 30 New Routes from Navi Mumbai, Starting Flights to Bhavnagar

IndiGo has launched over 30 new domestic routes from Navi Mumbai International Airport between March 29 and April 23, marking a significant expansion of its network, including direct flights to Bhavnagar as part of its growth in Gujarat.

The carrier has announced that these new routes will link Navi Mumbai with various cities such as Agra, Ayodhya, Bagdogra, Belgaum, Chandigarh, Diu, Kannur, Kolkata, Patna, Rajkot, Srinagar, Varanasi, and Visakhapatnam, among others.

With this expansion, IndiGo will operate over 400 weekly departures from Navi Mumbai, improving regional connectivity.

Additionally, the airline has begun operating twice-daily direct flights between Bhavnagar and Navi Mumbai starting March 29, utilizing ATR aircraft to enhance access to smaller cities.

Earlier this month, IndiGo announced the addition of direct flights to Jamnagar beginning April 23. With these new services, the airline will provide connectivity to six destinations in Gujarat — Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, and Jamnagar — featuring over 1,400 weekly flights to and from the region.

According to IndiGo’s comprehensive flight schedule, the introduction of services to and from Navi Mumbai consists of a blend of daily and periodic flights across metropolitan and tier-2 cities, with routes like Kannur, Jammu, and Bareilly being rolled out in stages through early April.

IndiGo operates a fleet of more than 400 aircraft, conducting over 2,200 daily flights to more than 95 domestic and 40 international destinations, having transported 124 million passengers in 2025.

Shares of Interglobe Aviation Ltd., IndiGo’s parent company, fell by 4.48% on Friday, March 28, prior to the announcement of the new flight routes. The stock has seen a decline of 9.25% in the past month.
