IDFC FIRST Bank Launches Zero-Forex Diamond Reserve Credit Card
IDFC FIRST Bank announced the introduction of the Zero-Forex Diamond Reserve Credit Card on Tuesday (January 6), enhancing its premium credit card suite with a focus on international travel and lifestyle expenditures.

The bank stated that this card features zero foreign exchange fees on international transactions. It rewards users with points for both travel and everyday purchases, offering greater earning potential for hotel and flight reservations made through the bank’s platform.

Cardholders can enjoy access to airport lounges in India and abroad, in addition to perks like complimentary golf sessions, select hotel stay deals, and discounts related to entertainment.

The Diamond Reserve Credit Card provides a range of travel-related protections such as coverage for baggage loss, flight delays, trip cancellations, and personal accident insurance, as well as air accident coverage.

Further benefits include lifetime validity of reward points, no limit on reward point accumulation, and flexible redemption options for online shopping.

The card comes with an annual fee of ₹3,000 plus GST, with the possibility of waiving the fee from the second year for customers who meet certain spending criteria. The bank noted that the card is accessible through digital channels for qualified customers.

Shirish Bhandari, Head – Credit Cards, FASTag & Loyalty at IDFC FIRST Bank, mentioned that the product targets customers who travel internationally often, offering a blend of zero forex charges with travel-oriented rewards and benefits.

This launch occurs in the context of increasing competition within the premium credit card market, as banks strive to attract high-spending customers through travel-centric offers and bundled lifestyle advantages.
