The orders have been issued by GMR Triveni Smart Meters, GMR Kashi Smart Meters, GMR Agra Smart Meters, Paschimanchal Infrastructure, and Madhyanchal One Infrastructure, and will be fulfilled according to the terms of the relevant purchase orders. The company indicated that these contracts are part of its regular business operations.
Q3 results
In a separate update, HPL Electric announced a strong operating performance for the December quarter, with increases in revenue, profitability, and margins year-on-year.
Net profit for Q3 climbed 8.3% YoY to ₹19.5 crore, up from ₹18 crore in the same quarter last year, aided by enhanced operational efficiency.
Revenue from operations rose 20.8% YoY to ₹474 crore, compared to ₹392.5 crore, driven by increased sales volumes during the quarter.
At the operating level, EBITDA soared 29% YoY to ₹72 crore from ₹55.7 crore, while EBITDA margins increased to 15.2% from 14.2% a year prior, reflecting better cost management and operating leverage.
Shares of HPL Electric & Power Ltd closed lower on Thursday, April 30, dropping 2.15% to ₹355.00 on the NSE.
