HCLTech plans to eliminate 120 positions at its Orlando location due to a decrease in client activity.

HCLTech teams up with UiPath to speed up worldwide implementation of autonomous automation.

HCLTech Ltd’s US subsidiary plans to lay off approximately 120 employees at its Orlando, Florida, facility beginning May 29.

This job reduction was announced in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) dated April 1.

The upcoming layoffs are part of an operational restructuring associated with a client’s project winding down, affecting employees connected to that client at the Orlando location, Moneycontrol reported.

The company indicated that the employees impacted may be eligible for redeployment within the organization or across different client accounts, depending on the alignment of their skills.

This action takes place amid a broader adjustment by Indian IT service providers in the U.S., as firms modify their workforce in response to changing client requirements and the growing automation in substantial outsourcing agreements.
