The donor, Mukesh Patel, a businessman based in Surat and owner of the esteemed jewellery brand Green Lab, showcases both his religious fervor and impressive craftsmanship with this gift, marking it as one of the most extravagant contributions to date.
Dinesh Newadia, the national treasurer of the VHP, provided details about the offering. “Mukesh Patel has contributed 11 crowns made of diamonds, 30 kilograms of silver, 300 grams of gold, and rubies,” PTI quoted him.

Moreover, Patel has gifted a variety of ceremonial decorations and items crafted in valuable metals and stones. “The donation consists of necklaces, earrings, forehead tilaks (decorative marks for the deity), four large bows and three smaller ones to symbolize the four brothers from the Ramayana, four quivers, three maces, and ceremonial fly whisks,” Newadia elaborated.
The items were transported to Ayodhya using a special chartered aircraft, underscoring the importance of the donation. Temple authorities indicated that these offerings will be utilized for adorning idols and during ceremonial events within the Ram Temple complex.
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, responsible for overseeing the construction and decoration of the Ram Temple, has received a multitude of donations from across India since the temple’s foundation was established. This recent donation further enriches the collection of artefacts and ornaments being prepared for religious ceremonies.

The announcement follows the consecration of Ram Darbar, depicting Lord Ram in his royal form, which took place on June 6. The ceremony was attended by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and featured the installation of idols in eight newly built temples within the Ram Janmabhoomi complex.
