G R Infraprojects becomes the lowest bidder for a ₹1,454 crore highway project in Gujarat.
G R Infraprojects Ltd has secured the lowest bid (L-1) for a project aimed at enhancing a 60.21 km segment of NH-56 in Gujarat, converting it from a two-lane to a four-lane divided highway.

The contract value stands at ₹1,453.57 crore, with a completion timeframe of 910 days from the designated start date, according to the filing.

The project spans from Ch. 208+90 (Existing Km 535.93) in Nasarpore Village, Umarpada Taluka, to Ch. 269+11 (Existing Km 608.51) in Malotha Village, Vyara Taluka, and will be carried out under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM, Package VI), as stated in the exchange filing.
The financial bid was opened on 27 March 2026, with G R Infraprojects designated as the lowest bidder (L-1) by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
The company also mentioned that per the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015, the trading window for all designated individuals will remain closed for 48 hours post-announcement.

G R Infraprojects indicated that it will provide further updates on the project’s progress.

Earlier this week, G R Infraprojects received a Letter of Award (LOA) from NHAI for a ₹2,440.87 crore highway project in Bihar. This involves the construction of a four-lane greenfield segment of National Highway-33 from Mokama to Munger under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM), as noted in an exchange filing dated 23 March 2026.

Shares of G R Infraprojects Ltd closed lower on Friday, March 27, declining by 2.28% to ₹804.50 on the NSE.
