Enviro Infra Engineering has been awarded two significant engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts on Saturday, April 11, totaling ₹972 crore from the Swachh Maharashtra Mission Directorate, as reported in an exchange filing.
The first contract, amounting to ₹587.21 crore (including GST), focuses on the establishment of a 120.50 million litres per day (MLD) sewage treatment plant (STP) categorized under Category-I.
This initiative also comprises 209 km of interception and diversion (I&D) pipelines and a 887.20 km sewer network across 306 urban local bodies (ULBs) with populations under one lakh, as part of the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0.
The second contract, valued at ₹384.98 crore (including GST), pertains to the construction of a 121.10 MLD STP under Category-II, addressing ULBs with an STP capacity of 5 MLD and above.
This project includes 105.50 km of I&D pipelines and 433.68 km of sewer networks within the same urban local bodies.
Both contracts are domestic and will be carried out over a 24-month period.
These projects are part of the larger Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0 initiative aimed at enhancing sewage treatment infrastructure and sanitation coverage in smaller urban centers across Maharashtra.
Shares of Enviro Infra Engineering saw an increase of 1.25% on Friday, April 10, closing at ₹173.15 on the NSE.
