In a social media update, Mein characterized the rafting on the Dibang as “an experience of raw power, untouched forests, and pure adventure.”
He noted that the river embodies the wild spirit and tremendous eco-tourism potential of Arunachal Pradesh, emphasizing that its thrilling rapids and stunning landscapes make the Dibang one of the most captivating adventure spots in the region.

Reflecting on the journey with Mithi, Mein shared that rafting through the river’s striking terrain was “truly unforgettable,” inviting visitors to witness the unique adventure themselves.
“Adventure awaits in Arunachal. A visit to Dambuk is incomplete without experiencing the thrill and natural beauty of the mighty Dibang River, ideally through an exciting river-rafting adventure,” he remarked.
Stressing the broader vision for promoting adventure tourism, the deputy chief minister mentioned that the government is enhancing its commitment to foster responsible adventure activities that provide sustainable livelihoods for local communities while conserving the state’s rich natural heritage.
