Due to a projected severe winter storm, Air India has suspended its flights to New York and Newark for January 25-26.

The airline operates daily routes from Delhi and Mumbai to New York, with daily flights from Delhi to Newark, and Mumbai to Newark on select days of the week.

Air India announced on Saturday that a significant winter storm with heavy snow is expected to affect New York, New Jersey, and neighboring areas on the East Coast of the US from early Sunday to Monday, significantly disrupting flight operations.
“In consideration of the safety and comfort of our passengers and crew, all Air India flights to and from New York and Newark are cancelled for January 25 and 26,” the airline stated in a post on X.
