“There’s an abundance of manual and analytical labor, and we believe that AI—and the finance & accounting platform we’ve created—can greatly automate many of these processes from start to finish,” stated Niyati Chhaya, Co-Founder of Hyperbots, during an interview with CNBC-TV18. “Our aim is to liberate everyone in the CFO’s office from repetitive, mundane tasks and replace them with the finance-centered agentic AI we’ve developed.”
Distinct from conventional automation software, Hyperbots’ AI has been specifically trained on financial information to ensure exceptional accuracy. This unique focus, as Chhaya noted, differentiates the company. “We aren’t taking a one-size-fits-all approach,” she clarified. “It’s contemporary intelligence dedicated exclusively to finance.”
One of its flagship products is HyperLM, touted as the industry’s first large language model designed specifically for finance. “Think of it as a ChatGPT crafted for finance professionals and CFOs; that’s the vision we’re working towards,” Chhaya expressed.
The company has recently secured $6.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Arkam and Athera Ventures. These funds will aid its expansion into the US market, following 18 months of dedicated product development in partnership with CFOs.
With an estimated addressable market size of 100,000 companies, Hyperbots anticipates robust growth. Current market penetration is less than 5%, even in select regions. The company forecasts generating $4 million in revenue over the next year.
India is also a key area of interest. Hyperbots is engaging with several global capability centers (GCCs) and noticing increased interest from the banking industry. “We are already in discussions with multiple GCCs…who can cater to both domestic and international clients,” Chhaya mentioned.
