TN CM Advocates for Celebrating a Diverse India, Not a Homogeneous One
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin emphasized on Monday that Republic Day should symbolize a united India rather than a uniform India, advocating for a nation where cultures enhance one another and languages coexist with pride.

In a subtle critique of the BJP government at the Centre, Stalin remarked, “Let’s celebrate a unified India. Not a uniform India.” He noted that India is characterized by “many voices,” with various identities contributing to the fabric of the nation.

“India progresses when every individual can live with dignity, confidence, and freedom,” he stated in a message on the social media platform ’X’.
“We must continue to be a nation where cultures enrich one another, languages exist harmoniously, and faith is a personal conviction. Our true strength lies not in uniformity but in our diversity. When diversity is safeguarded, belonging becomes a natural experience. The future is inclusive for all. Happy Republic Day, India, plural and proud,” he expressed.

The Chief Minister further added, “Let’s win together (Velvom Ondraga). In Tamil Nadu’s journey toward prosperity, we will ensure no one is left behind.”
