Indian Representation Expands at CES: Key Leader at Global Tech Expo
The presence of Indian firms and startups is steadily increasing at the global technology expo CES, and “we welcome broad participation” in the upcoming years, according to a senior executive from the world’s largest technology showcase.

These comments were made by John Kelley, Vice President and Show Director of CES.

“The Indian presence at CES is on the rise. We are starting to see a growing number of Indian startups participating at CES. Naturally, we welcome robust Indian involvement in the coming years,” Kelley stated in response to a PTI inquiry during a press conference.
Kelley highlighted Bangalore-based technology and wearables company Ultrahuman, exclaiming that “we are truly excited to welcome them to the show this year.” Ultrahuman offers products such as the world’s lightest sleep-tracking wearable, a continuous glucose monitoring platform, and a preventive blood testing platform.

Kelley expressed his expectation that around 150 countries will take part in this year’s CES, noting that roughly 40 percent of attendees and exhibits come from outside the U.S.

CES 2026, the premier technology event organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), commenced here on Tuesday and will continue through January 9. It brings together global companies, startups, industry leaders, and government officials to “experience the next generation of tech that addresses global challenges.” Over 4,100 exhibitors are demonstrating innovations across areas such as accessibility, AI, digital health, energy, enterprise solutions, immersive entertainment, mobility, quantum, robotics, and more.

CES, overseen and produced by the Consumer Technology Association, encompasses every facet of the tech industry. As North America’s largest technology trade association, CTA represents the world’s foremost innovators, from startups to major brands, contributing to over 18 million American jobs, according to a statement from CTA.

CTA has also initiated a partnership program with investors to connect them with startups present at CES this year.

Consumer Technology Association Executive Chair and CEO Gary Shapiro noted that this year’s CES will host more than 4,000 exhibitors, over 1,300 speakers, and more than 400 sessions.

“CES is a platform where innovators gather, business thrives, partnerships emerge, and technology turns real-world challenges into exciting opportunities,” said Shapiro. “We’re delighted to see global innovators present their breakthroughs that will define the future.” According to exhibit information on the CES website, numerous Indian companies, startups, and trade promotion organizations are participating in CES 2026.

These include the MedTech innovator specializing in AI-driven health solutions, aabo; Bhopal-based pseudo-reality company ArvyaX Technologies; mobile, telecom, ICT association CMAI Association of India; Gurgaon-based global smartwatch leader Noise; automotive technology firm Sona Comstar; and global tech partner Zoondia.

Last year, Kelley noted that CES hosted its first Indian pavilion on the show floor in 2024.

Hamish Patel, Vice President – Product Devices for Noise, told PTI that the company feels “very proud” to showcase its products at CES.

“We are indeed very proud to be here and compete on a global stage. Our company has matured significantly; we have our own R&D team, we handle most of the designs in-house, and we conduct the majority of the manufacturing in India. Our aim here is not to bring the same products. We have genuinely competitive offerings that can stand up to the best,” Patel remarked.

Noise ranks as the third-largest smartwatch brand globally, with a focus on “democratizing technology for everyone,” as stated in its profile.

ArvyaX Technologies is featured at Eureka Park, the CES platform designated for emerging startups from around the globe.

“This is a monumental moment for us, as we are not only representing our company at CES, but we also feel that we represent India on a global stage – showcasing innovation emerging from India for the world,” said ArvyaX’s founder and CEO, Shalabh Bhatnagar, a robotic engineer, during PTI’s interview about participating in the world’s premier technology event.

He was joined by his father, Rakesh Bhatnagar, and cousin Prayag Bhatnagar, who is an engineer at the company.

Shalabh Bhatnagar attended CES for the first time in 2017 and has since dreamed of bringing his own company to CES, “because it is the platform where you highlight your innovation to the world.” He added, “ArvyaX is an innovation forged in India. It is not just manufactured in India but inspired there as well.”
