Indian mangoes, renowned globally for their rich flavor and aroma—such as Alphonso, Chausa, Kesar, Badami, and Neelam—have captivated consumers worldwide. This year’s foremost international destinations for mango exports included London, Toronto, and New York, showcasing the continued demand in key western markets.
“At CSMIA, we take pride in being the gateway for India’s mango exports,” stated a representative from the airport. “With world-class infrastructure and a specialized cold chain system, we ensure that every mango arrives at its international destination fresh and in optimal condition.”

The spokesperson further mentioned that to maintain quality standards, CSMIA utilizes its Agro Excellence Centre, a 2,000-square-metre temperature-controlled facility focused on handling perishable goods. The facility sustains a temperature range of 15°C to 25°C throughout the logistics process, from cargo acceptance and screening to palletizing, effectively preserving freshness and minimizing spoilage.
The airport employs efficient palletization techniques that ensure optimal air circulation and humidity levels, essential for the delicate nature of mangoes. Additionally, cargo is loaded for dispatch only when flights are prepared for departure, minimizing unnecessary exposure to ambient heat.
Exporters benefit from CSMIA’s real-time tracking capabilities through its mobile application, Turant, offering end-to-end visibility from cargo drop-off to final dispatch.
