Available colors include Graphite Grey and Mint Green. The tablets will be available through Amazon, Flipkart, Mi.com, and authorized retail stores starting this week.

The Redmi Pad 2 showcases a 27.94 cm (11-inch) 2.5K display featuring a pixel density of 274 ppi, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The display achieves up to 600 nits brightness in outdoor mode and possesses TÜV Rheinland certifications to minimize blue light and flicker, enhancing user comfort for extended use.
Sound is produced through a quad-speaker setup supporting Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio. The tablet measures 7.36mm thick and weighs 510g for the Wi-Fi model and 519g for the Wi-Fi + Cellular version. An IP52 rating ensures protection against dust and light splashes.
Processor, Performance, and Battery
Powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra processor, the tablet incorporates two Cortex-A76 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores, accompanied by Mali-G57 MC2 graphics. RAM can extend up to 16GB, featuring 8GB physical and 8GB virtual memory capabilities. Internal storage is expandable to 2TB via microSD.
The device boasts a 9000mAh battery with 18W fast charging capabilities, and a 15W charger is included in the package.
Software and Ecosystem Integration
Operating on Xiaomi HyperOS 2, the Redmi Pad 2 facilitates features like call syncing and a shared clipboard with Xiaomi smartphones, enhancing cross-device functionality. Xiaomi India has confirmed that the Redmi Pad 2 series will be produced locally as part of its ‘Make in India’ initiative.
