The introduction of this route will cater to both business and leisure travellers, providing a convenient travel option linking Punjab and Maharashtra. This direct connection is anticipated to support Punjab’s agricultural and industrial sectors by enhancing access to major ports in Mumbai and facilitating smoother trade connections with both national and international markets.

“With Adampur now becoming our 55th domestic and 77th overall destination from Mumbai, this new route offers opportunities to explore Punjab’s vibrant cultural heritage while enhancing connectivity and economic prospects. We will continue to expand our domestic network to meet the growing demand for air travel in the region,” he added.
Situated in Jalandhar, Adampur is strategically located along the Jalandhar-Hoshiarpur Road and hosts one of India’s oldest airbases – the Adampur Air Force Station. This connection paves the way for increased tourism, featuring nearby attractions like Rangla Punjab Haveli, Devi Talab Mandir, Pushpa Gujral Science City, and Wonderland Theme Park, which offer a blend of cultural, spiritual, and family-friendly experiences.
