Aegis Logistics to Construct Propane Storage Tank at JNPA in ₹142.5 Crore Agreement with Subsidiary
Aegis Logistics Ltd. has entered into a framework agreement with its subsidiary, Aegis Vopak Terminals Ltd. (AVTL), to build an additional refrigerated propane storage tank and related facilities at the JNPA tank farm area.

This agreement is valued at ₹142.5 crore.

The company will construct a refrigerated double steel wall, full containment, insulated propane storage tank with a capacity of 51,998 metric tonnes at the terminal.

As part of the agreement, Aegis Logistics will receive ₹142.5 crore from AVTL upon the execution of the framework agreement.

The company indicated that this transaction qualifies as a related-party transaction, as AVTL is its subsidiary, and affirmed that it was conducted on an arm’s length basis.

Q1FY27

Earlier today, the firm announced its earnings for the June quarter. The logistics and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) infrastructure company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹484 crore for the quarter ended June, an increase from ₹131 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations rose 37% year-on-year to ₹2,357 crore, up from ₹1,719 crore.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) nearly tripled to ₹715 crore from ₹240 crore a year prior. The EBITDA margin expanded significantly to 30.3% from 14%, indicating stronger operational performance during the quarter.

Profit before tax increased to ₹719.3 crore from ₹227.9 crore in the same quarter last year, while tax expense rose to ₹174.4 crore from ₹52.5 crore. Total expenses grew to ₹1,743.9 crore from ₹1,554 crore, driven by elevated purchases of stock-in-trade, employee costs, and finance charges.

The company’s Gas Terminal division remained the key driver of performance. Segment revenue increased to ₹2,178.6 crore from ₹1,575.5 crore a year ago, while segment profit surged to ₹575.3 crore from ₹132.1 crore.

Aegis Logistics Ltd. shares closed nearly unchanged on Thursday, at ₹1,395.60 on the NSE, reflecting a decline of 0.01% from the previous close.
