Sachin faced Tryagain Morning Ndevelo of Namibia in a thrilling men’s 60kg final, mounting an incredible comeback after trailing in the first two rounds.
In the decisive third round, Sachin earned a standing count against Ndevelo, culminating in a 3-2 split decision victory for India.
Lovlina Borgohain, an Olympic medallist, claimed a silver after a split 1-4 loss to Emma-Sue Greentree of Australia in the women’s 70kg final.
Arundhati defeated Chantelle Reid of England in the women’s 70kg final with a unanimous 5-0 decision.
Preeti captured gold with a commanding 5-0 win over Canada’s Scarlett Delgado in the women’s 54kg, while reigning world champion Jaismine followed suit, also winning 5-0 against defending champion Michaela Walsh from Northern Ireland in the women’s 57kg.
Sakshi then secured India’s third gold of the day by defeating Ruby White of England 5-0 in the women’s 51kg final.
Priya faced a tougher challenge but emerged victorious, winning 4-1 in a split decision against Marie-Bathoul Al-Ahmadieh of Canada in the women’s 60kg.
Jadumani battled hard but lost 0-5 to Australia’s Jye Dixon.
After some initial struggle against his taller rival, Jadumani managed to win the first round 3-2.
However, Dixon demonstrated his skills and came back to decisively take the second round with a unanimous 5-0 score.
The Australian’s momentum enabled him to edge out Jadumani and halt India’s golden spree in the boxing ring.
Jadumani advanced to the men’s 55kg final by securing a 5-0 unanimous decision against Philip Haoseb of Namibia on Friday.
In the women’s division, Jaismine began strong, claiming the first round by a split decision in a closely contested match.
Jaismine continued to gain ground, winning the second round unanimously after landing significant blows on her opponent.
Earlier, 22-year-old Preeti commenced her gold-medal match with a powerful start, unanimously winning the first round with all five judges scoring it 10-8 in her favor.
The World No. 3 in the bantamweight class continued her momentum into the second round, ultimately securing India’s first gold medal of the day.
