Janpath, Patel Chowk, and Seva Teerth metro stations remain shut for security reasons and will stay closed until further notice.
In an update posted on X, the DMRC confirmed, “The interchange facilities and gates are now available at Rajiv Chowk and Central Secretariat metro stations.”

Previously, five metro stations, including Janpath, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat, and Seva Teerth, were closed due to security concerns. Although the metro operator did not specify the nature of the security issue, they indicated the stations would remain closed pending further instructions.
“For security reasons, Janpath, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat, and Seva Teerth metro stations have been closed until further notice,” DMRC had announced on X.

With this latest announcement, passengers can again enter, exit, and interchange at Rajiv Chowk and Central Secretariat, while services at the other three stations remain suspended.
Commuters are advised to adjust their travel plans accordingly and consider alternative stations or modes of transport as necessary. Further updates on the reopening of the other stations are awaited.
On Sunday, the Delhi Metro also experienced a temporary disruption on the Yellow Line due to a ‘passenger on track’ situation at INA metro station. Train services were delayed for a period before returning to normal operations. The metro operator later confirmed that Yellow Line services had resumed as usual.
