Norwegian Airline Compensates Following England Victory, Replaces Instagram Logo with British Airways'
Norwegian has fulfilled its friendly World Cup wager with British Airways after England triumphed over Norway 2-1 in the quarter-finals by temporarily swapping its Instagram logo for that of the British airline.

Before Saturday’s knockout match, the Norwegian airline playfully challenged British Airways on Instagram with a bet: “If Norway wins, you have to change to our logo on Instagram on Sunday (for one day). And vice versa. Deal?”

With England moving on to the semi-finals after extra time, Norwegian honored the agreement.
“Even though our tournament journey is over, this friendly wager will hold a special place in our hearts. We wish England and @british_airways the best of luck in the semi-final, and we truly hope you’ll bring football home!” the airline shared on Instagram, accompanied by an image stating, “It’s coming home” featuring the British Airways logo.

The light-hearted exchange quickly garnered admiration on social media, with users commending Norwegian for accepting the defeat with such good humor.

Norway’s World Cup adventure concluded with the loss to England, yet thousands of fans still flooded the streets of Oslo into the early hours of Sunday, celebrating the team’s remarkable journey with their now-iconic “Viking row” and chants filled with hope for the future.
