The evaluation utilizes 14 indicators sourced from various organizations, including the World Bank, the World Economic Forum, and the Sustainable Development Report.
European countries dominated the top 10 positions in the Global Passport Index 2026, with Sweden leading the list, while Singapore was the sole non-European country to make it into the top 10.

The ten best passports in the Global Passport Index 2026 are:

  1. Sweden
  2. Switzerland
  3. Finland
  4. Germany
  5. Netherlands
  6. Denmark
