Investigations are underway against former Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero for alleged influence peddling and associated offenses, according to the country’s High Court on Tuesday.

The High Court mentioned that searches were conducted at Zapatero’s office in Madrid along with three additional locations, and added that the former prime minister is scheduled to appear for questioning on June 2.
