Assam Chief Minister-designate Himanta Biswa Sarma announced on Monday that four individuals will be sworn in as ministers alongside him, with the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Sarma shared that Rameswar Teli, Atul Bora, Charan Boro, and Ajanta Neog will assume ministerial roles.

Additionally, he revealed that Ranjit Das is the ruling alliance’s choice for the Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly.

Sarma congratulated the newly appointed leaders and expressed optimism that the new team will strive towards creating a “stronger, more developed, and prosperous Assam.”
