Japan issues tsunami warning following powerful 7.5 magnitude earthquake along Sanriku coast.

A 7.5 magnitude earthquake occurred off the coast of Sanriku in northeastern Japan at 4:53 PM JST, with a depth of 10 km. The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) has issued a tsunami warning, but no immediate damage has been reported.

On April 20, a 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Sanriku in northeast Japan.

In response, the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) issued a tsunami alert for coastal areas.

The earthquake was recorded at 4:53 PM Japan Standard Time (JST), with a depth of 10 km beneath the surface, according to the JMA.
As of now, there have been no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
