Iran-US-Israel War Live News Updates: Iran claims to have shot down two US warplanes as missile strikes target Israel; Israeli forces destroy key bridges in Lebanon amidst stalled mediation efforts following Iran’s rejection of US talks in Pakistan.

Iran-US-Israel War Live News Updates: The conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States is escalating, with new military assertions and retaliatory attacks reported throughout the region. Iran’s military announced that it has downed two US warplanes. One aircraft reportedly fell in the Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, while the other went down over the Gulf. Iranian officials stated that two members of the US crew were rescued, while at least one individual is still unaccounted for.

Celebrations broke out in Tehran after Iranian officials claimed the incident showcased the nation’s enduring military strength against the US and Israel, according to Al Jazeera.

US President Donald Trump has been updated on the downing of a US F-15 jet in Iran, warning Tehran, “It is time for Iran to make a deal before it is too late, and there is nothing left of what still could become a great country.”

In retaliation, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Tehran is “determined to defend itself against American and Israeli aggressors using all of its resources.”

Iranian attacks on Israel also ignited a blaze at an industrial site in southern Negev and caused destruction to buildings in Rosh Haayin and Petah Tikvah.

Simultaneously, Israel has reportedly eliminated two crucial bridges over the Litani River in Lebanon, enhancing its military footprint in the southern region of the country.

Mediation efforts to resolve the conflict have hit a snag. Talks led by Pakistan between Washington and Tehran have stalled after Iran allegedly declined to meet with US officials in Islamabad. Meanwhile, mediators such as Turkey and Egypt are investigating alternative locations like Doha or Istanbul to rejuvenate the discussions.
