Myntra's CEO Nandita Sinha to Depart; Sharon Pais Expected to Take Over

Nandita Sinha, the CEO of Myntra, is preparing to resign and will leave the organization in the upcoming weeks, as per a report by Moneycontrol citing sources close to the situation.

Sinha, a member of the Flipkart group since 2013, is also anticipated to depart from the Walmart-owned entity. The company has initiated the search for her replacement, with a decision expected shortly, the report indicated.

Sharon Pais, who currently heads Flipkart Fashion and previously served as chief business officer at Myntra, is considered the leading candidate for the position, the report added.

Sinha’s future plans are unclear. In response to inquiries, a spokesperson for Flipkart stated that the company does not engage with market speculation.

Her departure occurs at a pivotal moment, just prior to Flipkart’s anticipated IPO later this year. Myntra continues to be an essential component of the group, competing with rivals such as Amazon Fashion, AJIO, Nykaa Fashion, and Meesho.

Located in Bengaluru, Myntra stands as India’s largest fashion e-commerce platform and is among the more profitable entities within the Flipkart ecosystem, which also encompasses Cleartrip, Ekart, and Shopsy.
