GlobalPay introduces a forex card enabling users to transact in 30 different currencies.
WSFx Global Pay (GlobalPay) has introduced a new prepaid forex card that enables users to seamlessly switch between various currencies with a single card, as outbound travel from India continues to rise.

The company announced that the Smart Switch Forex Card allows travelers to start with one currency and later exchange across up to 30 currencies via its mobile app or website, eliminating the need for multiple forex cards for different locations.

According to the company, the card is accepted in over 180 countries and supports currencies such as the US dollar, euro, pound, Canadian dollar, and Japanese yen, among others. Users can load funds in US dollars and make transactions in local currencies, while also managing multiple currency wallets with the same card.
The card facilitates ATM withdrawals, e-commerce payments, and contactless transactions. Users can check balances, reload funds, and keep track of transactions through the GlobalPay mobile application.

GlobalPay stated that this product is being launched with zero forex markup on supported currencies and will be accessible through its app, online portal, and branch network.

As India’s outbound tourism flourishes, industry players are rolling out digital payment solutions for travelers to meet the increasing demand for easier international payment management.

GlobalPay is an RBI-authorized dealer category-II entity focused on forex cards, international money transfers, and currency exchange services. The company is listed on BSE Limited and operates a wide network of branches, corporate clients, and agents throughout India.
